Our blackcore mounts are cut from 1.4mm thick (1400 micron) blackcore acid free mount card.
Available in a choice of 6 colours, and cut to your custom size, with free UK postage included in the price.
Please choose your size category (based on the outside measurements of the mount), and whether you would like to order just the mount, or a mount, backing mount and cello wrap (B&C) from the drop down menu. The cello wrap will come as a bag closest to the mount size, with any excess cello easily taped on the back for presentation.

MEASURING YOUR MOUNT
1 - Outside size - The outside size is the overall outside dimensions of the mount. If the mount is to fit a frame, this will be the size of the glass.
2 - Aperture size - There must be an overlap of approx 3mm on each size with the image and the aperture, with the image being slightly larger than the aperture so it stays in it's correct position behind the mount. For example, a 20cm x 20cm paper size would require a aperture of 19.4cm x 19.4cm. Please calculate the exact aperture size you will need.
3 - Border size - we will make the borders of the mount equal unless otherwise requested.
Custom Size Extra Thick Mount
Our extra thick mounts are cut from 3.5mm thick (3500 micron) whitecore acid free mount card, as opposed to standard mounts, which are only 1.4mm or in some cases thinner.

Each mount includes an acid free mount card back and a cello bag.

The Mount size in the title is the external mount size and will fit into standard ready made frame sizes. The aperture (internal cut out) is cut 2mm under the stated size so your picture will fit perfectly behind the mount.
