Leigh Banks

Leigh Banks is a British contemporary artist (born and raised in Zimbabwe). She studied painting under the portrait artist Catherine Prescott in Pennsylvania where she completed her BA degree in Fine Art.

Banks has exhibited in London, New York and Cape Town and has also done many artwork commissions for the cruise ship industry via ICART (International Corporate Art based in Oslo and Miami).

She is most known for her piece “Last Orders” – a depiction of the “Last Supper” format with portraits of deceased popular music icons. The original was selected to hang in the Royal Academy in London in their 2021 Summer Exhibition and Grayson Perry tweeted that it was one of his “faves” in the show.
